On 11-24-20 at 10:14 pm Christopher McClister, Age 23, of Columbia was charged with 2 counts of trafficking in a controlled substance 1st degree after a lengthy investigation.
The case began when the Sheriffs Office initiated an investigation into multiple complaints of McClister also known as (critter ) selling narcotics specifically methamphetamine. Over the course of the investigation the Sheriffs Office substantiated the complaints and was able to make a series of controlled buys from McClister of methamphetamine. The case was presented to Commonwealth Attorney Brian Wright who brought the case before an Adair County Grand Jury and as a result the indictments for arrest was issued. He is lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail on a 15,000 full cash bond. Chief Deputy Justin Cross was lead investigator in the case. The Sheriffs Office was assisted by Columbia Police Department in the search and arrest of McClister. Sheriff Josh Brockman Adair County Sheriff’s Office Man arrested after sheriff’s office responds to a an assault In progress involving a hammer11/25/2020 On 11-24-20 at 8:02 pm Deputy Joey Keith and Deputy Derek Padgett responded to River View Road 10 miles east of Columbia to a domestic assault in progress.
Upon arrival deputies located Anthony Antle on the porch of a residence. Antle had been in an altercation with a male and female at the residence. He struck the male with the hammer and assaulted the female as well. Deputies also observed that he had destroyed household items and Property with the hammer. Antle was quickly took into custody and lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail on charges of: - assault 2nd degree - assault 4 th degree domestic violence -alcohol intoxication in a public place - criminal mischief 2nd degree . The incident remains under investigation by Sheriffs Office Sheriff Josh Brockman Adair County Sheriff’s Office The Adair County Fire Department responded to a barn fire on Friday night to 677 Millerfield Road. The alarm came in at 7:15 PM. Upon arrival barn was fully engulfed in fire and was a total loss along with about 50 rolls of hay. There were 17 firemen on the scene for about 2 hours. On 11-13-20 at 10:34 pm Adair County Sheriff K-9 Deputy Josh Durbin Initiated a traffic stop 19 miles north of Columbia in the Elkorn community on a 1989 Toyota truck. During stop probable cause was developed that there was controlled substances in the vehicle with the assistance of K-9 nitro a search of the vehicle was conducted.
As a result Charles Perry the operator was arrested on charges of - possession of a controlled substance 1st degree methamphetamine - possession of a controlled substance 2 nd degree -possession of drug paraphernalia - operating on a suspended license Also arrested was passenger Shawna luttoyt 27 of Campbellsvile on charges of - possession of a controlled substance 1st degree methamphetamine Possession of a controlled substance 2nd degree Both were lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail. On Sunday, November 9th The Columbia Police made a drug arrest after initiating a traffic stop. Traffic stop was conducted on Russell Road HWY 80 just after 9PM. Operator gave consent for search of vehicle, resulting in drug paraphernalia and suspected methamphetamine being located.
Michelle Clark, 42, of Columbia was taken into custody and charged with numerous traffic violations as well as possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of methamphetamine. Officer Ethan Pike was the arresting Officer, he was assisted on scene by Officer Trevor Foster. |
